Pedestrian Bridge
Old Warburton
Road & Bridge was engaged by Yarra Ranges Shire Council to construct the Old Warburton Road Bridge as small part of the Warburton Mountain Bike Trail.

The works included installation of bored piles and Surefoot piles, construction of cast in-situ pile caps, and a concrete platform supported on a 750mm diameter column.
The superstructure comprised prefabricated steel segments forming a 50m boardwalk, a 38m elevated ramp, and a 20m bridge span, providing a safe grade-separated crossing for cyclists over Old Warburton Road. The superstructure was installed in sections, and required on site welding and fixing at each join.
The project also included the installation of regular performance rail installed on bored piles, so the entire length of the structure, to ensure pedestrian and vehicle separation.
