The scope of works included replacement of all droppers connecting the bridge deck to the upper suspension cables, replacement of the bridge deck, and repainting of the structure.

The new droppers were fabricated with the integrated turnbuckles, allowing the bridge to be re-tensioned and the deck profile adjusted to increase hog and restore the intended geometry.
