Bridge Constructions
Cann River
Road & Bridge constructed six bridges and three culverts within Drummer State Forest following significant damage caused by bushfires.
The scope of the works included removal of six existing fire-damaged crossings and installation of replacement structures.

Bridge works comprised post-tensioned precast concrete girder bridges, along with a 16m simply supported steel beam bridge (800WB192) incorporating precast deck plants.
Four of the bridges included on-structure railing, and all the sites involved pavement construction and installation of associated road furniture.
In addition to bridge works, the project included construction of major culverts, including a twin 1500mm reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) culvert and 1200mm RCP installations. Due to the remote location of the sites, access and logistics planning formed a critical component of the project delivery.
